I am on God’s mind!

“God is mindful of me and my house.”

12The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. 13He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great. 14The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children. 15Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

Psalms 115:12-15

In Charles Spurgeon’s many years at his London church during the 1800s, he loved to preach on the riches of Isaiah 49:16, which says that God engraves us on the palms of His hands. He said, “Such a text as this is to be preached hundreds of times!”

If and when we’re tempted to think that God has forgotten us, we only need to look at our palms and remember God’s promise. He has put indelible marks on His hands for us; He loves us that much. He said He would provide and He will!

When I think about all God gave to bring me into His family, I find it hard to believe He would ever forget me. If I’m tempted to think He has, I remember His promise: He has engraved us on the palms of His hands. That is how deeply He loves us.

God has promised to provide, and He is faithful. Through Jesus’ work on the cross, He has forgiven our sins and chosen not to remember them against us. Scripture says He watches over His Word to perform it. If He is watching over His Word, I can trust that He is watching over me.

Victory Confession

God will bless my house.  God always has me on His mind.

Give the Word First Place

“Indecision will dissipate you; be organized in your spirit as well as your mind.”

8A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:8

5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Hebrews 10:23

If you’re feeling confused, you may be listening to too many voices. God speaks clearly through His Word. When you face a difficult situation, pause and ask, “What does the Word say?”

Faith is a choice. We can choose to trust God’s Word above the noise around us. As we study Scripture and keep it in our hearts, it helps us recognize His will, strengthens our hope, and brings peace to our decisions. Give God’s Word first place, and let it become the foundation for how you live each day.

Victory Action

I will give the Word of God first place in my thoughts and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, thereby organizing and training my spirit to guide me in making quality decisions.

I have a choice!

“To have a good attitude is my decision.”

2I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. 3I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. 4A froward heart shall depart from me:

Psalms 101:2-4a

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Philippians 4:8

14 Live a cheerful life, without complaining or division among yourselves.

Philippians 2:14 TPT

Life is full of decisions. We can’t control everything that happens to us, but we can choose how we respond. When someone hurts us, the feelings may be real, but we do not have to let those feelings rule us. We can choose to hold on to offense, or we can ask God for the strength to let it go.

God has given us His Word to show us how to live and help us recognize a wise choice. He has also promised to strengthen us to make that choice, even in the hardest seasons. Whatever we face, we can turn to Him and take the next step in faith.

…Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think, say or do. It is more important than appearance, gift, or skill. It will make or break a company…a church…a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day…I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you… we are in charge of our attitudes.— Charles Swindoll

Victory Decision

I cannot control what others do or say, but I can control my response to all situations. Therefore, like David, I make a conscious decision to have a good attitude.

Confident Prayers Bear Much Fruit

“Bible prayer works.”

14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

1 John 5:14-15

7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

John 15:7-8

Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

James 5:16 AMP

God never promised to confirm our opinions. He promised to confirm His Word with signs following. That is why we can pray Scripture with confidence, trusting God to work as we pray.

Fear, empty repetition, and unbelief do not produce the same fruit as prayer rooted in God’s Word and offered in faith. When God has spoken, we can trust His will and bring His promises to Him in prayer. We can pray with confidence, knowing He hears us and is faithful to His Word.

Victory Action

I will pray according to God’s Word and with confidence I will receive.
