The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 37:23-24<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isaiah 41:10<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My enemies, don\u2019t be glad<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>because of my troubles! <\/span><\/span>I may have fallen, <\/span>but I will get up;<\/span><\/span>
I may be sitting in the dark, <\/span>but the\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0is my light.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have all heard the expression, \u201cEveryone makes mistakes.\u201d It\u2019s true. When we allow our flesh to guide our choices, we can make wrong decisions. But as Christians, we are more than just natural human beings. Through Christ, we have been made new and created in the image of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are spirit, soul, and body. This means we do not have to be controlled by our flesh or by the mistakes of our past. We can choose to follow the leading of our spirit\u2014the part of us that has been made alive unto God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we make a wrong decision, we can turn to God for help, learn from His Word, and allow His instructions to guide us forward. Our past does not have to determine our future. We do not have to remain in bondage to yesterday\u2019s failures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can arise, learn, grow, and move forward. We can choose to walk in the freedom and victory that Jesus has already purchased for us.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victory Decision<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I will no longer allow my mistakes to hold me back. I will rise above them, learn from them, and move forward in victory.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
