{"id":413,"date":"2023-06-20T06:21:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-20T11:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/drbobnichols.calvarycathedral.org\/?p=367"},"modified":"2023-06-09T16:51:29","modified_gmt":"2023-06-09T21:51:29","slug":"the-law-of-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.calvarycathedral.org\/wpbobnichols\/2023\/06\/20\/the-law-of-love\/","title":{"rendered":"The Law of Love"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201c<strong>L<\/strong>ove is the royal law of the Scriptures.\u201d<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><sup>8<\/sup><\/em><\/strong><em>If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color\">James 2:8<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><sup>30<\/sup><\/em><\/strong><em>And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. &nbsp;<strong><sup>31<\/sup><\/strong>And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Mark 12:30-31<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eagerly pursue\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a0seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest];<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1 Corinthians 14:1 (AMPC)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First John 4:8 tells us that God is love. As His children, we should be an example of that love to everyone we come in contact with. It isn&#8217;t always easy! But we will be blessed if we do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Victory Decision<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I will walk in love with my family, friends, neighbors and enemies.
