{"id":411,"date":"2023-05-30T06:17:00","date_gmt":"2023-05-30T11:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/drbobnichols.calvarycathedral.org\/?p=363"},"modified":"2023-04-18T11:38:58","modified_gmt":"2023-04-18T16:38:58","slug":"the-love-walk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.calvarycathedral.org\/wpbobnichols\/2023\/05\/30\/the-love-walk\/","title":{"rendered":"The Love Walk"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201c<strong>L<\/strong>ove is the key to understanding people.\u201d<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\"><strong>1 Corinthians 13:4-8a<\/strong> <strong><em><sup>4<\/sup><\/em><\/strong><em>Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, \u00a0<strong><sup>5<\/sup><\/strong>Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; \u00a0<strong><sup>6<\/sup><\/strong>Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; \u00a0<strong><sup>7<\/sup><\/strong>Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. \u00a0<strong><sup>8<\/sup><\/strong>Charity never faileth: <\/em><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>We don&#8217;t always understand a person based solely on what we see on the surface. Sometimes we must &#8220;dig a little deeper&#8221; to determine what makes a person who they are. We all have been through things that have shaped who we are today. We aren&#8217;t perfect. We need love and understanding. We need people to be patient with us. We need to be patient with others as well. When we choose to be kind even when others are not kind to us, we are practicing the Word of God. God is love.
