\u201cO<\/strong>n my way to becoming perfect, He sees me as perfect through the finished work of Calvary.\u201d<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

10<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;  11<\/sup><\/strong>If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.  12<\/sup><\/strong>Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13<\/sup><\/strong>Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,  14<\/sup><\/strong>I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  15<\/sup><\/strong>Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 22<\/sup><\/strong>For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:  23<\/sup><\/strong>But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.  24<\/sup><\/strong>O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?  25<\/sup><\/strong>I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Romans 7:22-25<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  2<\/sup><\/strong>For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.  3<\/sup><\/strong>For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:  4<\/sup><\/strong>That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Romans 8:1-4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are all a work in progress when it comes to our flesh. Thankfully God has a plan for that and has made a way for us to grow in Him. Becoming a mature Christian isn’t related to our natural age. It is the process we go through to grow up in Christ. To grow spiritually we do things like attending church regularly. We read the Word of God daily. We spend time in the presence of God and in prayer daily. These will all contribute to our spiritual growth. In the realm of the Spirit, God sees us through His eyes of love and sees us perfected through the blood of Jesus. That is why we can always approach Him without condemnation. We are not going to be any more righteous than we are when we receive Jesus into our heart. That is where we stand spiritually. A joint heir with Jesus. But we still need to renew our mind! We still need to discipline our flesh so that we receive the full benefit of Jesus has done for us. It is a process. Don’t quit when you blow it! Go to God and received forgiveness and restoration. It is time to grow up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victory Confession<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Growing up spiritually is a process that takes time.\u00a0 I will be patient with myself as I press on toward the mark. I will yield daily to the work of God in my life. I will do what I need to grow and change!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
