\u201cW<\/strong>hen you get in trouble, go back to basics.\u201d<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

1 Corinthian 2:1-5<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

1<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.  2<\/sup><\/strong>For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.  3<\/sup><\/strong>And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.  4<\/sup><\/strong>And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:  5<\/sup><\/strong>That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of<\/strong> teaching and<\/em> wavering with every changing wind<\/strong> of<\/strong> doctrine<\/strong>, [the prey of<\/strong>] the cunning and<\/em> cleverness of<\/strong> unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of<\/strong> trickery in inventing errors to mislead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Word of God should be the foundation of our Christian walk. However, there are times that we may become distracted and start listening to voices other than God. That is when we usually get into trouble. We find ourselves somewhere we weren’t planning on going and doing things we don’t really want to do. Things get complicated. That is when it time to go back to basics. It is time to go back to the presence and Word of God for direction. It is time to let go of our own plans and follow the plan of God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victory Action<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
