\u201cPray about what you pray before you pray it.\u201d<\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

How do you “pray about” what you pray about before you pray it? Sounds tricky doesn’t it? When you pray about it aren’t you already praying? It really isn’t that hard. Hopefully you are setting aside a time everyday for prayer. When you go into that dedicated time of prayer just make sure your first prayer is asking God for wisdom on how and what to pray. Every prayer you pray will be much more productive if you praying out the will of God and now your own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While prayer should not be complicated, because after all at its foundation is about communication with God, it should be done with some wisdom. If you want to pray for God’s will in your life you first must know what is His will. You have to find God’s character and nature in the Word of God. Your prayer should be based on the Word of God. If it isn’t then you might be praying the wrong thing for the wrong reason and that prayer will not be answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

James 4:3 says, “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.<\/em><\/strong>” So don’t waste your time there! Find out what the Bible says about your situation and pray that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, if you need finances you could pray in faith according to Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”<\/strong> God confirms HIS word! So pray HIS word! If you want His power working in your prayer life then you need to pray His Word! Because God confirms His word not our opinion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

God can see the whole picture and wants to give what is best for me in the long run.  I will seek God\u2019s will through His Word and in being open in prayer.  When I experience His peace in my spirit about the matter, I will know how to pray specifically.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
