{"id":258,"date":"2022-01-03T06:18:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-03T11:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/drbobnichols.calvarycathedral.org\/?p=258"},"modified":"2021-12-08T18:46:40","modified_gmt":"2021-12-08T23:46:40","slug":"learning-is-part-of-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.calvarycathedral.org\/wpbobnichols\/2022\/01\/03\/learning-is-part-of-life\/","title":{"rendered":"Learning is Part of Life"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cW<\/strong>ise people are those who learn from their mistakes; fools never learn.<strong>\u201d<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><em>A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">Proverbs 1:5<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<em>Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.&nbsp; Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.7<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">Micah 7:7-8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><em>Knowledge begins with fear and respect for the\u00a0Lord, but stubborn fools hate wisdom and refuse to learn<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">Proverbs 1:7 ERV<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Henry Ford said, &#8220;The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.&#8221; Everyone makes mistakes. The Bible is full of stories of people who made mistakes. Remember Saul? He made persecuting and killing Christians his goal in life. That was a mistake that got God&#8217;s attention and brought Saul face to face with Him. After being blinded on the road to Damascus Saul decided it might be a good time to change his ways. Brilliant! God redeemed him and changed his name to Paul. He then went on to write numerous books in the Bible and spend them rest of his life building the kingdom of God. He learned from his mistake! Even when we blow it God is ready to restore us and help us change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Victory Decision<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">When I make a mistake I will own it. I will not lose hope. I will repent and ask God for His help to change.
