Restoration of the relationship with His children was foremost on His mind when He sent Jesus to earth. Jesus was all God and all man. It was the only legal way for God to restore us to Himself. Jesus’ sole purpose was to shed His blood for us. He had all the power and could have called for the angels and removed Himself from the cross but He stayed for us. He walked on the earth for 33 years. He healed the sick and raised the dead. He preached the Gospel. He delivered those bound by demons. He did it all for us.
