One definition of persistence is “steady pursuit of what is undertaken<\/em>“. God has given you the tools and weapons necessary to be victorious in times of testing. In Luke 4 we read the story of Jesus being tested by the devil in the wilderness.\u00a0 The enemy came time and time again to try to wear Jesus down. Jesus however, persisted in standing against the enemy by consistently using scripture to answer each temptation. He stood in the power of God’s Word until the devil relented.<\/p>\n
