Isaiah 49:16<\/a>, which says that God engraves us on the palms of His hands. He said, \u201cSuch a text as this is to be preached hundreds of times!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\nIf and when we\u2019re tempted to think that God has forgotten us, we only need to look at our palms and remember God\u2019s promise. He has put indelible marks on His hands for us; He loves us that much. He said He would provide and He will!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0<\/b>In Charles Spurgeon\u2019s many years at his London church during the 1800s, he loved to preach on the riches of\u00a0Isaiah 49:16, which says that God engraves us on the palms of His hands. He said, \u201cSuch a text as this is to be preached hundreds of times!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I think about all God gave to bring me into His family, I find it hard to believe He would ever forget me. If I\u2019m tempted to think He has, I remember His promise: He has engraved us on the palms of His hands. That is how deeply He loves us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God has promised to provide, and He is faithful. Through Jesus\u2019 work on the cross, He has forgiven our sins and chosen not to remember them against us. Scripture says He watches over His Word to perform it. If He is watching over His Word, I can trust that He is watching over me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
